With the regalia bright and the Chapter room full, Saturday 11th April became a standout occasion for Royal Arch Masonry in Victoria: the Proclamation of the First Grand Principal and his Deputy, together with the installation of the incoming Second and Third Grand Principals. A new team of Grand Officers was then invested, setting the tone for the year ahead—all unfolding at the Ringwood Masonic Centre amid the rich colour and splendour of a Royal Arch ceremony.
The ceremony drew a strong gathering of interstate and overseas dignitaries, alongside representatives from Craft, Mark, and the other Orders in Victoria—an impressive show of support and fraternity.
Most Eminent Companion Robert Redman was proclaimed as First Grand Principal for a second term, continuing his steady leadership. Right Eminent Companion Robert Taylor was likewise proclaimed as Deputy First Grand Principal.
Two new Companions were installed as Second and Third Grand Principals: REmComp Brian Davidson as Grand Haggai, and REmComp Tony Del Nevo as Grand Jeshua.
After the ceremony, the Grand Principals and their guests retired to the Coach Hotel for a banquet and celebration. Excellent food, warm fellowship, plenty of laughter, and a series of engaging speeches made for a memorable evening.
The following morning, a farewell breakfast was held at Rydges Ringwood in a relaxed, casual setting—an ideal close to the weekend. The hospitality and attentive service provided by the hotel were warmly appreciated.
